Last updated: January 2024. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Termly and our services. By accessing or using Termly, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use License
Termly grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use our platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Modify or copy our platform or content
- Use our platform for any commercial purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or breach security
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Scrape or systematically extract data
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscription and Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at ₹179 per month. Billing occurs automatically on your subscription renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds for Pro subscriptions are not automatically issued. If you have concerns about a charge or wish to request a refund, please contact support@termly.app within 14 days of the charge.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on Termly, including vocabulary definitions, example sentences, and learning materials, is owned by or licensed to Termly. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit this content without our written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Termly is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the platform's fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of content, or uninterrupted service. We do not guarantee that vocabulary learning will result in professional proficiency or career advancement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Termly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost profits or data loss.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted to the platform. Your continued use of Termly after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
